Liz Friedland

Head of Community + People at Landing

Liz Friedland has a diverse work experience spanning across various organizations. In 2009, they started as an Economic & Business Development Intern for Senator Charles Schumer. In 2010, they worked as a Marketing and Communications Intern for KIND. From 2011 to 2014, they were with Teach For America, where they served as a 7th Grade Teacher & Science Content Lead and later as a Manager of Recruitment. In 2014, they joined RePublic Schools as the Chief of Staff before transitioning to the role of Chief Talent Officer from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, Liz became a Consultant for Vote.org, focusing on Talent Strategy, and also held the position of Head of Community for Landing. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the Chief of Staff for Carbon180. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Community + People at Landing.

Liz Friedland attended Duke University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies. Prior to their college education, they attended Horace Greeley High School, but the degree and field of study are not specified.
