Effie Houssakos

Effie Houssakos has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Effie is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Landmark Health, a role they have held since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Quality and Care Coordination at Landmark Health from March 2019.

In 2018, Effie worked at SummaCare as the Director of Medicare and Individual Sales until March 2019.

Before that, they had a long tenure at Independent Health, starting in 2007. At Independent Health, Effie held various roles including Medicare Sales Manager from 2010 to 2018, and Medicare Marketing Manager from 2007 to 2010. Their responsibilities included managing and mentoring sales teams, developing marketing strategies, and ensuring sales objectives were met.

Effie's earlier experiences include working as an ELA Teacher at Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts from 2004 to 2007, and as the Director of Promotions at Wolf Group Advertising from 2000 to 2002. Effie also worked as a Senior Account Executive at Crowley Webb from 1997 to 2000, and as a Senior Account Executive/Account Executive at Wolf, Mansfield & Bolling Advertising from 1992 to 1997.

Throughout their career, Effie has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, sales management, marketing, and promotional programs.

Effie Houssakos holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from The American College of Greece. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Secondary Education (Grades 7-12), Concentration in English from the New York State Department of Education and is a licensed Sales Agent in Life, Accident & Health Insurance from the Ohio DOI. Houssakos is also certified as a Facilitated Enroller by the New York State Department of Health.
