Craig began their career in 2011 with various work experience roles at companies such as Michael Rogers LLP, Savills PLC, H2SO LLP, and Aberdeen Asset Management PLC. These roles provided him with exposure to different aspects of the industry, including office agency, investment, lease consultancy, and asset management.

In 2012, Flanders joined Network Rail as a Graduate Surveyor in the Property Services department, where they gained experience in day-to-day and long-term management of operational land portfolios. Craig then moved to the Retail department at Network Rail as a Graduate Surveyor, focusing on landlord and tenant work and managing commercial contracts.

Flanders continued their career at Network Rail, becoming an Asset Manager in 2014. In this role, they managed portfolios of commercial properties, worked on investment schemes, and improved Network Rail's reputation in the property market. Craig also served as a Portfolio Manager, focusing on a specific area of commercial properties and addressing various property management issues.

In 2015, Flanders joined Landsec as an Asset Manager for Bluewater Shopping Centre. Craig'sresponsibilities included creating and implementing strategic business plans, defining leasing strategies, managing financial aspects, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
