Shilpa Nagaraju

Lead Systems Biology at LanzaTech

Shilpa Nagaraju's work experience begins in 2003 when they joined the Institute of Bioinformatics as a Scientist. Shilpa then moved on to become a Research Associate at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research in 2005. In 2010, they became a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Institute of Molecular Biosciences, Massey University. Shilpa later joined LanzaTech in 2014 as a Senior Scientist in Synthetic Biology, and over time, they took on roles such as Senior Computational Biologist and Omics Coordinator, Manager of Systems Biology, and currently serves as the Lead Systems Biology.

Shilpa Nagaraju holds a PhD in Molecular Parasitology from the University of Montpellier 2, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed their Master of Science in Biotechnology at the University of Mysore from 2001 to 2003. Shilpa also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Botany, Biochemistry, and Microbiology, which they obtained from the University of Mysore from 1998 to 2001.
