Chad Kanick

Chad Kanick, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Chad started their career as a Post-doctoral Researcher at Erasmus Medical Center from May 2008 to September 2011. Chad then joined Dartmouth College in October 2010 as an Assistant Professor of Engineering, where they directed a lab focused on the development and clinical translation of optical technologies. In July 2016, they made the transition to the startup world, joining Profusa as the Director of Clinical Data Science. In this role, they led the data analytics efforts and played a key role in designing the clinical study for pivotal FDA evaluation. In May 2020, they moved to Lark Health, where they initially served as the Senior Director of Business Insights and Reporting, responsible for evaluating and communicating the performance of AI-driven digital health programs. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Data & Insights at Lark Health, where they oversee various aspects of data-products and drives improvements in next-generation offerings.

Chad Kanick, Ph.D., received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University in 2002. Chad then went on to obtain their Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh between 2002 and 2008.
