Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith has a diverse work experience starting in 2006 as an Associate at Venable LLP. Lauren then worked as In House Counsel at Westland Real Estate Group from 2012 to 2013 before joining Farkas + Toikka, LLP as Of Counsel from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2021, Lauren held various roles at Parker and Lynch, including Attorney Search Director & Division Director, Senior Director of the National Partner Group, and Principal. Currently, they are working at Lateral Link as a Principal and has recently been promoted to Senior Principal in 2024. Lauren's educational background includes a double major in Classical Languages and Political Science from Cornell University and a JD from William & Mary School of Law.

Lauren Smith received their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from William & Mary Law School, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), With Distinction In All Subjects, in Classics and Classical Languages & Government from Cornell University, attending from 1997 to 2001. Lauren completed their high school education at Dulaney High School from 1993 to 1997.
