Niko Olsrud McIver

Niko Olsrud McIver is currently the Director of Legal Recruiting at Lateral Link, a position held since September 2024. Previous experience includes a brief role in Legal Recruiting Operations at Perkins Coie LLP and serving as a Senior Recruiter for Legal at Tesla, where Niko successfully supported executive teams, negotiated compensation, and led full-cycle recruiting, achieving an 80% acceptance rate. Prior to Tesla, Niko was a Senior Recruiter at Meta, where responsibilities included recruiting for Reality Labs and achieving a 93% candidate closure rate. Niko's extensive background in legal recruiting also includes a tenure as Legal Recruiting Manager at Perkins Coie LLP, where a focus was placed on onboarding and managing high-volume university recruiting. Additional roles include in-house legal counsel at EdgeRift and early experiences as a Patent Paralegal and Felony Appeals Intern. Niko holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Seattle University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Washington.
