Alex Young

Alex Young has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in multiple roles and companies. Alex is currently working as a Lead Backend Engineer at Lava Labs, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Lockwood Publishing Ltd as a Software Engineer from April 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at UNiDAYS from July 2017 to April 2020, where they played a key role in designing and building a content delivery microservice with high daily active users. From April 2016 to July 2017, they worked as a Software Developer at Impero Software, where they integrated Clever, an SSO provider, and introduced integration testing for their flagship product. Additionally, Alex has experience as a Web Developer at Ten4 Design from June 2014 to June 2015, where they developed a voting platform and improved their communication skills through client meetings.

Alex Young attended Boston High School from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued their A Levels in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. Alex also completed an AS Level in Biology during this time. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2015, Alex attended Brunel University London, where they focused on studying Computer Science. No specific degree was mentioned for their time at Brunel University.
