Gareth Williams

Gareth Williams has worked in various roles in the Quality Assurance field since 2000. Gareth began their career as a Junior QA Engineer at Compaq Computer Corporation in 2000. In 2004, they moved to Nielsen Media Research as a Junior QA Executive. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as a Test Analyst at both Hothouse Interactive and the NSW Department of Education & Communities. In 2012, they began working as a Senior Test Analyst at Planit Test Management Solutions, and in 2020 they moved to Qual IT in the same role. Currently, they are a QA Engineer at Lavanda, a position they have held since 2022.

Gareth Williams obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Aberystwyth University between 1999 and 2004. Gareth also holds several certifications, including the Agile Tester Extension from the ISTQB Certification Institute (obtained in 2016), Certified Agile Essentials from the iSQI Group (obtained in 2016), and ISTQB Foundation from the ISTQB Certification Institute (obtained in 2010).
