Maurizio Zippo

Maurizio Zippo has extensive experience in supply chain management. Maurizio is currently working as the Supply Chain Director at Lavit, where they collaborate with major investor Coca-Cola Euro-Pacific Partners and The Coca-Cola Company to develop a liquid-based eco-capsule and dispensing solution. In this role, they are responsible for designing the company's supply chain network and processes in Europe and North America.

Prior to Lavit, Maurizio served as the Head of Supply Chain at Cuts Ice Limited, where they implemented the S&OP program to balance supply and demand functions. Maurizio also reviewed master production schedules and capacity models to improve overall equipment efficiency, labor plans, and reduce wastage. Additionally, they re-designed the logistics network in Europe based on the impact of Brexit.

Before that, Maurizio was the Head of Supply Chain at Pots & Co Ltd, where they managed the global supply chain for the company across the UK, Europe, and the USA. Their responsibilities included overseeing S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, production, logistics, and customer services. Maurizio successfully implemented the S&OP program at Pots & Co.

Prior to Pots & Co Ltd, Maurizio worked as a Supply Chain Manager at Babease Ltd and Crosta & Mollica. At Babease Ltd, they supported the Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams in optimizing cost structures and supply chain operations. At Crosta & Mollica, they were promoted to Supply Chain Manager and was responsible for ensuring the continuity of product supply and reducing operational costs. Maurizio also served as a Demand Supply Planner at Crosta & Mollica, where they managed logistics functions and carried out forecasting for purchase orders.

Maurizio's earlier roles include working as a Supply Chain Planner at ROS Marketing and Sales, an Operations Support Manager at Brera Canary Riverside, and as a Concierge at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Maurizio Zippo has a diverse educational background. Maurizio first attended the Industrial Technical Institute ITIS A. Meucci from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC). Following this, they pursued higher education at the Università del Salento from 1999 to 2004, earning a Master of Education - MEd degree with a specialization in Education.

In addition to their formal education, Maurizio Zippo has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. In 2016, they received a certification in Forecasting Techniques and Inventory Management from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. In 2022, they completed the Demand Forecasting (Module 1 & 2) course from SupChains. Furthermore, Maurizio Zippo attended the S&OP Master Class offered by GSP For Supply Chain Solutions in 2022. Most recently, in 2023, they obtained a certification titled "SCM ANALYTICS: Mastering the best KPIs & Dashboards to analyze and boost the supply chain performance" from AbcSupplyChain.
