Hein Thu Soe

Hein Thu Soe is an accomplished professional currently engaged in freelance English teaching through activities at LbE Japan since June 2022. Prior roles include translator with UNICEF from June 2020 to June 2023, and vice president at YNOT Myanmar from June 2020 to March 2022, focusing on youth networking and community sustainability. Additionally, Hein served as co-head of the media team at IFP Myanmar from August 2019 to March 2021 and interned with Development Innovation Insider from May 2020 to January 2021. Earlier experience includes contributing to curriculum design at MYEO and developing soft skills as a membership officer for the American Centre Debate Club. Hein Thu Soe is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University while holding a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Myanmar Maritime University.
