Margaret Lokey has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Margaret started their career as a Flight Attendant at Delta Air Lines from February 1994 to December 2004. Margaret then worked as a Management Intern at Community Health Systems, where they assisted in organizing a National Marketing Conference and implemented a tracking process for physician marketing from December 2004 to January 2006. Margaret later became the Physician Marketing Manager and then the Director of Residency Programs at Community Health Systems from January 2006 to January 2008. Margaret then took on the role of Conference and Media Planner, where they handled the coordination of recruitment conferences and developed multimedia campaigns from January 2008 to November 2012.
In 2013, Margaret joined 4th Sector Solutions as an Operations Specialist-Contract for a period of eight months. Margaret then moved on to Mount Carmel Academy, where they worked in the Alumnae and Development Office from August 2014 to December 2015. Following this, Margaret worked at Touro Infirmary, starting as the Medical Staff Credentialing Manager from November 2015 to May 2016, responsible for managing credentialing processes and maintaining up-to-date records. Margaret then became a Project Manager from May 2016 to January 2019, where they developed processes to streamline financial commitments and supervised medical resident and student programs. Margaret's most recent role was as the Director of Medical Staff Services at Touro Infirmary from February 2019 until their current position.
Margaret Lokey's current position is the Senior Director of the System Verification Office at LCMC Health, a role they have held since February 2023. With their extensive experience in healthcare administration and project management, Margaret has a strong background in managing medical staff services and implementing efficient processes.
Margaret Lokey completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Education from Auburn University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Following this, in 2008, they obtained a certification in Meeting and Events Planning from the Scarlett Leadership Institute at Belmont University. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bethel University, studying there from 2010 to 2011.
