Tony Cognata

Tony Cognata has a diverse work experience in various educational and organizational roles.

From April 2023, they have been serving as the Manager of Organizational Learning at LCMC Health. Before this, they worked as a Learning and Organizational Development Consultant at the same company from March 2022 to April 2023.

In 2019, Tony worked as a Freelance Content Contributor for both Newsela and A Pass Educational Group, LLC.

From 2019 to 2022, they also worked as an Independent Educational Contractor for Study.com.

Prior to that, Tony held the position of Principal at KIPP Believe College Prep in 2017-2018. Tony served as Principal at KIPP McDonogh 15 School for the Creative Arts Middle from 2014 to 2017, and as Assistant Principal from 2012 to 2014, with additional responsibilities as an 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher and 7/8 Grade Level Chair from 2011 to 2012.

Tony's teaching career began as a Social Studies Teacher and Team Leader at McDonogh City Park Academy from 2008 to 2011.

Tony Cognata holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, which they obtained from National Louis University. Tony attended this institution from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History.
