Will Sharkey

Will Sharkey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Will started their career in 2012 at the Louisiana Department of Insurance as an Insurance Specialist II and later became an Insurance Specialist III. In 2015, they joined Ochsner Health System as an Information System Analyst and remained in this role until 2019. During their time at Ochsner, they also worked as an Epic Analyst - Resolute HB at The Coddington Group, LLC from June 2019 to December 2019. Following this, they worked as an Expected Reimbursement Contracts Consultant at Slidell Memorial Hospital from June 2019 to February 2020. Will then moved on to The Ohio State University Medical Center, where they served as an Expected Reimbursements Consultant from March 2020 to October 2020. In 2020, they joined AdventHealth as an Expected Reimbursement Contracts Consultant and transitioned to Baptist Health as an Epic Expected Reimbursement Contracts Consultant in February 2021. Currently, Will holds the position of Manager - Managed Care Contract Modeling/Analytics at LCMC Health since June 2021.

Will Sharkey obtained a Master's degree in Sport Management from Louisiana State University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Northwestern State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing, HB Contracts, HB Electronic Remittance, and SBO, all from Epic, in April 2015.
