Rocío Navarro Ortiz

Rockie C. is an accomplished Program Manager at Lonza since March 2023, where Rockie directs multidisciplinary project teams to enhance clinical manufacturing of biologics and fosters global collaborations. Previously, Rockie served as a Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., leading product development in genomics-based diagnostics and authoring a significant peer-reviewed publication on kidney transplant biomarkers. Earlier roles include Senior Scientist and Scientist II at Senti Biosciences, overseeing gene therapy projects with Roche companies, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles. Rockie holds a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
