Venus Ginés

Venus Ginés is the CEO and Founder of Dia de la Mujer Latina, a health initiative established in 1997 that provides medical exams, health literacy, and wellness programs to over 200,000 patients in 41 cities globally, fostering a vibrant atmosphere enriched with music and entertainment. In addition, Venus serves as President of Multicultural Community Intervention Strategies, LLC, focusing on enhancing cultural competence and health literacy within multicultural communities. Venus has held numerous positions, including as an instructor at Baylor College of Medicine and a past chair of the HHS National Promotores Steering Committee. With a background in grant reviewing for multiple government agencies and extensive experience in community health, Venus holds a Master's degree in Women's Studies from Georgia State University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science and Latin American Studies from California State University San Marcos.
