Shobha Nikam

Shobha Nikam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Shobha is currently working as the Data & Analytics Lead at LeafLink since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Global Head of SMB Analytics at TikTok from 2021 to 2023, where they successfully scaled the team and increased diversity. Shobha also worked as the Vice President of Analytics & Data Science at Dose in 2021. Before that, Shobha held various roles at Criteo, including Client Partner, Platinum Accounts, Senior Director of Global Brands, Head of Data Analytics, LATAM, and Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics. Shobha started their career at Buck Consultants, where they worked in roles including Senior Associate and Associate. Additionally, Shobha was involved with the Network of Indian Professionals - New York Chapter, serving as the President and Vice President of Cultural Awareness. Shobha also pursued a degree at INSEAD in 2012. Shobha has a strong background in data analytics, leadership, and marketing.

Shobha Nikam has a diverse education history, starting with their Bachelor's degrees in Math - Actuarial Sciences and Pure Math, as well as a Minor in Business Foundations from The University of Texas at Austin. Shobha completed these degrees from 1999 to 2005.

In 2008, they obtained the Level I certification from the CFA Institute. Shobha also obtained several certifications from the Society of Actuaries, including VEE Course Credits in Corporate Finance and Economics in 2006, as well as Course I in Probability in 2006 and Course II in Financial Mathematics in 2005.

In 2012-2013, Shobha pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from INSEAD. Shobha then continued their education in 2020 by completing a Data Science program and a Python Programming course from General Assembly.

Additionally, Shobha has obtained various certifications, including Introduction to Predictive Analytics in Python, Functions for Manipulating Data in PostgreSQL, Intermediate SQL, Introduction to SQL, Introduction to SQL Server, Joining Data in SQL, PostgreSQL Summary Stats and Window Functions, and SQL Fundamentals Track, all from DataCamp. Shobha also holds a Tableau Desktop 10 Qualified Associate certification from Tableau Software.
