Alex Sleighter

Alex Sleighter has a strong background in technology and engineering, with a focus on software development and team leadership. From 2018 to the present, Alex has been working as the Director of Business Technology at Leafly, where they oversee the implementation of technology solutions. Prior to that, Alex worked at Groupon as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, leading a team focused on third-party integrations. They also had experience at OmniTrail Technologies as a Consulting Engineer and at Vigilant Medical Inc. as an Engineering Director. Earlier in their career, Alex worked at Infinite Biomedical Technologies, LLC as a Software Systems Engineer, at SensorTrak Innovations Group as an Associate Engineer, and at Johns Hopkins University as a Graduate Researcher. They also gained teaching experience as an Introduction to Robotics Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth.

Alex Sleighter completed a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in the years 2003 to 2007. Following that, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University for the year 2007 to 2008.
