Sam Caygill

Sam Caygill has extensive experience in public affairs and media relations, currently serving as the Regional Public Affairs Manager for the East Bay Division at the League of California Cities since January 2008. Prior to this role, Sam was the Media Relations Manager for the California Travel and Tourism Commission from January 2006 to December 2007. Sam also held the position of Account Executive at Edelman from 2004 to January 2006 and began a career in public relations as a PR Assistant at Lucy & Company from 2000 to 2003. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Communication Studies, with an emphasis in Criticism and Public Communication, from California State University-Sacramento, completed in 2003.
