We are looking for a knowledgeable SEO Manager who is passionate about creating and optimizing site content and pages that connect with users’ intent and that deliver on business revenue goals. The SEO Manager role sits within a Content and SEO team, and as SEO manager, you would drive the strategy, secure execution with the content marketers on the team, and report on the results to the Lead of Content and SEO. 

Position Overview:

As an SEO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in increasing our online presence and improving our products' visibility through effective search engine optimization strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical and collaborative skills to optimize our content in close ties with the Content team. Your main objective will be to ensure we rank highly in search engine results and drive targeted organic traffic to our website that converts. Ultimately, your objective is to ensure maximum ROI on our organic search efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy Development and Optimization: Drive the SEO strategy and implementation to deliver significant growth in organic traffic and conversions.
  • Comprehensive Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research and understand user intent and product-market relevance to identify keywords with high potential and impact.
  • Development of Editorial Briefs: Generate editorial briefs that adhere to SEO best practices, supporting content creators in producing optimized content.
  • On-Page SEO Implementation: Execute on-page SEO strategies to boost website visibility and search engine ranking.
  • Collaboration with Content Creators: Work closely with content creators to embed SEO best practices into the content development process, ensuring content is optimized for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Competitive Analysis: Proactively and frequently perform competitive analysis to uncover opportunities for strategic enhancements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Forecast and monitor SEO performance, set KPIs, build reporting, and communicate pacing towards targets.
  • Industry Trend Analysis: Remain abreast of industry trends and search engine algorithm updates to adapt strategies proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in SEO, with documented success in leading SEO initiatives.
  • SEO Tools Proficiency: Fluency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, ScreamingFrog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and others.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent collaboration and advisory skills, capable of engaging with internal stakeholders in a professional and context-sensitive manner.
  • SEO Expertise: Deep understanding of SEO techniques, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and link building.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all SEO tasks and projects.
  • Team Collaboration: A proactive team-player attitude with a positive mindset, actively contributing to team efforts and taking initiative to drive results.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects simultaneously - ultimately thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
