Elizabeth Foster serves as the Senior Vice President of Research and Strategy at Learning Forward since January 2017, where co-leads an improvement science network aimed at enhancing professional learning and curriculum implementation informed by the NCTAF What Matters Now report. Previously, from January 2008 to December 2016, Elizabeth held the position of Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the National Commission on Teaching & America’s Future, directing national and regional programs that advocate for effective teaching policies and practices. Elizabeth's educational background includes a Master of Education in Adolescent Risk and Prevention from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Trinity College-Hartford.
