Role Purpose

As the SEO Lead within the Demand Generation team, your role is to enhance organic visibility and drive traffic through effective SEO strategies. You will oversee all aspects of SEO, including content optimization, technical audits, and off-site initiatives like link-building. By leveraging data-driven insights, you will track performance, identify growth opportunities, and align SEO efforts with broader marketing objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear communication with stakeholders are key to ensuring that SEO contributes meaningfully to overall business goals.

Typical tasks & Activities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies including Content, Technical, and Off-Site SEO.
  • Conduct keyword and competitor research. Create content plans or calendars, along with briefs for writers.
  • Run technical audits of the website, identify issues, and execute solutions by coordinating with the relevant dev teams.
  • Decide and manage the off-page SEO strategies (link-building).
  • Write briefs to writers/copywriters for copy optimization of blog posts and pages.
  • Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance objectives.
  • Perform in-depth competitor analysis and implement SEO recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities and inefficiencies to increase KPIs while maintaining budget efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to integrate SEO with overall marketing and business strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on SEO progress and initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate with developers and troubleshoot issues for the team.
  • Keep yourself and team updated with the latest trends in SEO, AI, and digital marketing.
