Megan May is a Staff Electrochemical Scientist at Lectrolyst, where responsibilities include the scaling up, assembly, operation, and take down of electrochemical stacks, alongside developing and optimizing analytical methods for quantifying small molecule organic products from electrochemical CO reduction. Previously, as a Process Chemistry Intern at FMC Corporation, contributions involved expanding process methods for an active insecticide and synthesizing high-energy substrates using advanced analytical techniques. Megan May earned a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Idaho, where engagement in tutoring led to recognitions as Tutor of the Year and Student Employee of the Year, while also serving as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Additional experience includes work as a Laboratory Technician at ELEX BIOTECH, LLC.
