Bo Arfai

Staff Lawyer at Legal Aid Ontario

Bo Arfai has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. They started their career as an Articling Student at Black Sutherland LLP in 2007. From there, they worked in private practice as a Criminal Lawyer from 2008 to 2013. In 2012, they also worked as a Lawyer at Justice for Children and Youth for a brief period. Following that, they worked as a Lawyer at Justice for Children and Youth from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Bo Arfai established their own criminal law practice, Bo Arfai, Criminal Law, where they served as a Lawyer until 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Volunteer Lawyer at The 519 Legal Clinic from 2010 onwards, and later became the Clinic Supervisor in 2013. Currently, they are working as a Staff Lawyer at Legal Aid Ontario since 2022.

Bo Arfai attended McMaster University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree. Bo studied Biology and Psychology during this time. Bo then went on to attend Western University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained their LL.B. degree in Criminal Law.
