Rebeca Buel

Rebeca Buel is an Intake Paralegal at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii since November 2022, with a long-standing role as an Interpreter and Translator for the Hawaii State Judiciary since January 2009, providing Spanish/English services across multiple court levels. As a Co-Founder of The Outside Life, LLC from September 2020 to June 2023, Rebeca developed business strategies and oversaw various operational processes for a landscaping business in Honolulu. Additional experience includes positions as a Reservations Agent at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Sales Manager and Lead Concierge at Holo Hawaii Tours, and an Interpreter for the Executive Office of Immigration Review through Lionbridge. Rebeca has also contributed to the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii in outreach and advocacy roles focused on domestic violence awareness within the Hispanic community. Educationally, Rebeca has completed project management and technical support courses through Grow with Google and studied at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.
