Gerardo Fernandez

Gerardo Fernandez has a diverse work experience in supply chain and procurement roles. Gerardo currently works at Legend Biotech as the Head of Global Supply Chain, a position they assumed in February 2024. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Senior Director of Supply Chain & Procurement for the US and EU regions at Legend Biotech from October 2021 to February 2024. Before joining Legend Biotech, Gerardo worked at Merck as the Associate Director of Integrated Logistics Procurement & Global Category Lead from March 2017 to November 2019. Gerardo also has extensive experience at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they held various managerial positions including GMS Business Development & Divestitures Manager, Global Transportation Manager - Strategic Partner Management, and Americas Transportation & Logistics Planning Manager. Gerardo's earlier career includes roles at MultiPack, Johnson & Johnson, Lenovo, and Gillette, where they gained valuable experience in operations management, logistics, and value chain management.

Gerardo Fernandez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they attended from 2000 to 2005. In 2004, they pursued a concentration/specialization in Production Management & Quality Systems at Linnaeus University. In 2016, they obtained certifications in BMS Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt and completed the People Business & Resources Group: Boot Camp Program, offered by Columbia Business School.
