Jason Hamilton

Jason Hamilton has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Jason started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Irvine in 2006. From there, they joined Athersys in 2008, where they worked as a Scientist, Senior Scientist, Group Leader, and later became the Program Head of Transplantation & Inflammation. In 2014, they joined Novartis as a Senior Fellow in Cell and Gene Therapy and later became an Analytical Project Leader and Technical Project Leader. Currently, they are working at Legend Biotech as the Senior Director of Manufacturing & Development. In 2020, they were promoted to Executive Director of Technical Development and Technical Support and later became the Vice President of Technical Operations.

Jason Hamilton received their Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester in 1997. Jason then pursued further education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry from 2000 to 2006.
