Ryan Mitton

Ryan Mitton serves as the Deputy Director of Research at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia since July 2017, providing strategic communications support and crafting materials for senior leadership on critical political issues. Prior roles include Research Manager, where engagement with senior executives facilitated positive policy outcomes, and Research Officer, managing emerging issues and analyzing legislation in key sectors. Previous experience encompasses supporting elected officials as a Legislative Assistant and providing administrative support to the Deputy Premier in the BC Public Service. Ryan Mitton's educational background includes a Master of Science in Public Management & Governance from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from McGill University.
