Katrin Bednarz

Katrin Bednarz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Katrin started their career as a Content Specialist at ACOMWARE s.r.o. in November 2011, where they created content for Czech e-commerce websites, including webpages, PR, promotions, and advertisements. Katrin also participated in internal online marketing.

In 2012, Bednarz became a Co-founder of BOO solutions, s.r.o., a company they helped establish until July 2016.

From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Freelance Copywriter, using their persuasive skills in the Czech language to inspire people to take action.

In January 2015, Bednarz joined Bileto Technologies as a Data Team Leader, responsible for the management of challenging data tasks.

Starting in February 2015, they worked as a Lektor at AHOJ Szkoła Języka Czeskiego, teaching Czech language.

Since 2017, Bednarz has been working at Lekta AI, initially as a Language Modeling Specialist from July to December, and then as a Lead Language Engineer. Katrin currently holds the role of Project & Team Lead since March 2022.

Katrin Bednarz completed their education at Charles University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Master's degree in Logic. In 2014, they also attended the University of Stavanger for a brief period of study in Computer Science. Prior to their university education, they attended Gymnázium dr. Václava Šmejkala from 2002 to 2010. Apart from their academic qualifications, Katrin also obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became the Chief of sommer camp, and in 2011, they obtained a certification as a Cycling Instructor. In 2010, they achieved the Deutsches Sprachdiplom from the Kultusministerkonferenz. Additionally, in 2012, they became a Medic for sommer camp certified by the Czech Red Cross.
