Lachezar Stoyanov

Lachezar Stoyanov has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Lachezar currently holds the position of Senior Project Manager - Financial Instruments at the Bulgarian Development Bank. Prior to this, they worked as a Financial Consultant at Lendahand.

From 2018 to 2022, Stoyanov worked at Oikocredit, where they held multiple roles. Lachezar started as a Senior Financial Risk Analyst and later became a Portfolio Manager for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, managing a corporate portfolio of EUR 80 million. Additionally, they served as the Country Manager for Oikocredit Bulgaria from 2015 to 2020.

Before joining Oikocredit, Stoyanov worked as an Investment Financial Analyst at State Fund Agriculture from 2004 to 2007. In this role, they conducted financial and investment analysis of projects and monitored the appropriate use of European subsidies in agriculture.

Lachezar Stoyanov pursued a Certified Expert in Risk Management Finance degree from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management between the years 2020 and 2021. Prior to this, they completed their Master's Degree in Banking, Corporate, and Finance from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. Earlier in their academic journey, Lachezar obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Business and Management from the University of National and World Economy.
