Theresa Ballard

Theresa Ballard has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry, primarily in Compliance, Compliance Training, Government Insurance, Guaranty implementation, Operations, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing Management, and Secondary Marketing. Theresa joined Strategic Compliance Partners, LLC (SCP) (Offit Kurman, P. A) in May 2014 as a Compliance Consultant and continued in this role until January 2022. Prior to that, they had over 20 years of experience with BFO Solutions Incorporated. Theresa also worked as a Secondary Marketing Manager at Developers Mortgage Corporation from 1992 to 1994 and as a VP at Vista Mortgage from 1987 to 1992. Currently, they are the Compliance Help Desk Manager at Lenderworks since January 2022.

Theresa Ballard attended Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 1990 to 1993, where they studied Economics. Theresa then pursued a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) degree with a focus on Business at the University of Mary Washington. Additionally, Theresa obtained a certification in Security Awareness - Legal Professional from LTC4 in October 2020.
