Nikita Newell

Nikita Newell is a seasoned professional in cyber security, currently serving as Group Head of Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Lendlease since June 2019, and also as Head of Cyber Security for Australia. Previous experience includes a role as a Cyber Security Consultant at Coherence Cyber Consulting, where Nikita developed effective cyber security programs and secured board commitments in both government and commercial sectors. Additional consultancy roles at Stockland and Lion were followed by a Senior Manager position at EY. Nikita has a solid background in cyber threat management and security transformation from prior positions at Qantas and HP Enterprise Security Services. Early career included project management and leadership roles at Westpac, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Datacom. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Computing Systems from Unitec New Zealand and various certifications, including PRINCE2 Practitioner and Certified Information Security Manager.
