David Boardman

David Boardman serves as the Dean of the Klein College of Media and Communication at Temple University since August 2013, overseeing a significant program with approximately 3,000 students and 200 faculty members. Boardman is the Chair of The Markup and Spotlight PA, and holds the position of Founding Chair and Board Member at the Lenfest Institute for Journalism. Prior to their current roles, Boardman was the Executive Editor and Senior Vice President at The Seattle Times from 1983 until August 2013. Educationally, Boardman holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Master of Communication from the University of Washington.
