Head Of Operations Excellence at Les Amis Group

David Wang has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. David is currently the Head of Operations Excellence at Les Amis Group since July 2023. Before that, they worked at the Shangri-La Group as the Director of Food and Beverage from November 2019 to June 2023. David also held the same position from January 2018 to November 2019, where they played a key role in the re-positioning of the hotel and implemented various projects. Prior to that, they worked at The Peninsula Hotels as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, where they focused on improving service quality and guest experiences. David also worked at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage/Restaurants and Bars Manager, where they successfully managed multiple outlets and implemented training and quality assurance programs. Additionally, they have experience as a Catering and Banquet Operations Manager at Sodexo and as a Restaurant Supervisor & Hotel Sommelier at The Westin Taipei.

David Wang obtained an MBA in Finance & Human Resources from Seattle Pacific University, which they attended from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Restaurant, Food and Beverage Management from National Kaohsiung Hospitality College, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. In 2013, they obtained the certification of Certified Advisor of Spirits from Deibel's Academy of Fine Spirits.
