Jaco Pretorius

Jaco Pretorius has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jaco began their career in 2011 as an ERP Project Manager at Core Group Southern Africa, where they worked until September 2013. In September 2013, they joined Net1 Mobile Solutions as a Financial Business Analyst and worked there until April 2015. From April 2015 to August 2017, they served as a Business Administration Officer at Net1 Mobile Solutions. In September 2017, Jaco joined Lesaka Technologies as a Product Business Development professional and held this role until January 2019. From February 2018 to April 2021, they served as the Head of Cash Management at EasyPay, another division of Lesaka Technologies. In February 2019, they took on the role of Head of Commercial, Fleet & Insurance at Lesaka Technologies and worked until September 2021. Most recently, Jaco joined Lesaka Technologies Inc. as the Head of the ATM Channel and EasyPay Cash division in October 2021.

Jaco Pretorius completed their education with various degrees and diplomas. Jaco pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Investment Management from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from the years 2006 to 2008. Following this, they achieved an Honours degree in Financial Management (BCom(HONS)) in 2009, also from the University of Pretoria.

In 2011, Jaco enrolled at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA Adv Dip MA) in 2013.
