Kwanzaa Wright is the current Director of Volunteerism, Buildings & Grounds Coordinator at Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House. Kwanzaa has also worked as a Relationship Manager/Processor at U.S. Bank and an Archives Technician at The National Archives.

Wright began their career as an Archives Technician at The National Archives in August 2009. In this role, they were responsible for processing and preserving historical documents. Kwanzaa also communicated with customers and staff to resolve problems and obtain necessary documentation.

In February 2013, Wright transitioned to U.S. Bank, where they worked as a Relationship Manager/Processor. In this role, they analyzed home saving options and foreclosure alternatives for VA, FHA, Rural Housing and Conventional loans. Kwanzaa also prepared and processed mortgage loan records, files and correspondence.

In April 2015, Wright joined Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House as the Director of Volunteerism, Buildings & Grounds Coordinator. In this role, they oversee the volunteer program and coordinates building and grounds maintenance projects.

Kwanzaa Wright has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Missouri Baptist University in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Kwanzaa also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Harris-Stowe State University.
