Chandra B. Singh

Chandra B. Singh, Ph.D., P.Eng., PAg, currently serves as the RDAR Research Chair in Agricultural Engineering and Technology and the Director of the Agricultural and Food Technology Centre at Lethbridge Polytechnic, a role held since August 2019. Previously, Chandra held the position of Associate Professor in Engineering with a focus on Stored Grain Facilities at the University of South Australia from July 2016 to July 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as Principal Engineer and Biosystems Engineer at OPIsystems Inc. from August 2011 to July 2016, where responsibilities included developing advanced grain management strategies and technologies. Chandra began academic pursuits as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Instructor at the University of Manitoba from 2009 to August 2011, following a Doctor of Philosophy in Biosystems Engineering earned at the University of Manitoba from 2005 to 2009 and a Master's degree in Postharvest Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2004.
