Head Baker at Levain Bakery

Kaitlyn Williams has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kaitlyn began their career as a Peer Counselor at CALS Ambassador, where they provided assistance to students in resume and cover letter review as well as job interview preparation. Kaitlyn also presented seminars on career and post-graduation topics.

Following this, Kaitlyn worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. John Cavanagh's Research Group, contributing to various research projects. Kaitlyn then joined Dr. Dennis Brown's Research Group as an Associate Scientist 2, where they held a position for over two years.

Kaitlyn also gained experience in the culinary field, working at The 1887 Bistro as a Fine Dining and Catering Cook. Kaitlyn further enhanced their culinary skills at Sur La Table and as a Personal Chef.

In 2021, Kaitlyn joined Kitchen Connect Consulting as a Food Associate, and later moved on to become a Baker at Levain Bakery. Kaitlyn quickly progressed to a leadership role as a Baker Team Leader, and eventually became the Head Baker.

Additionally, Kaitlyn had the opportunity to intern at The Fulton as a Line Cook. Kaitlyn also engaged in research-related roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Dennis Brown's Research Group and Dr. John Cavanagh's Research Group.

Overall, Kaitlyn's work experience reflects a strong background in both culinary and scientific fields, with a focus on research, leadership, and culinary expertise.

Kaitlyn Williams attended the Institute of Culinary Education from 2020 to 2021, where they studied Culinary Arts, Restaurant and Culinary Management. Prior to that, they attended North Carolina State University from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry.
