Shawna Mejia

Shawna Mejia has extensive work experience in account management and sales roles. Shawna is currently working as an Enterprise Account Manager at Level since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Account Executive, Large Group at Kaiser Permanente from November 2020 to May 2022. Shawna also worked as a Regional Sales Director at TASC from March 2020 to November 2020. Before that, they held the position of Alliance Account Manager, Strategic Business at Delta Dental Insurance Company from February 2019 to March 2020. Shawna has also worked as a Senior Account Manager at Delta Dental of Colorado from August 2013 to February 2019. Prior to that, they served as an Employee Benefits Account Executive at ERM Insurance Brokers, Inc. from April 2012 to July 2013. Shawna'searlier work experience includes the role of International Sales Representative at SureFire, LLC, where they managed international dealer/distributor accounts, processed purchase orders, coordinated shipments, and created necessary documentation from July 2009 to March 2012.

Shawna Mejia obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they received a diploma from Mater Dei High School from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their educational background, they also obtained several certifications. These certifications include a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate of Completion from ASQ - World Headquarters in August 2014, a Resident Life and Health Insurance License and Resident Property and Casualty Insurance License from the Colorado Department of Insurance in September 2013, a Health Insurance Professional (HIP) Designation from Warner Pacific - School of Success in October 2012, and a Non-resident Life and Health Insurance License and Non-resident Property and Casualty Insurance License from the California Department of Insurance in April and March 2012 respectively.
