Melissa Schmitt

Melissa Schmitt, SHRM-CP, has diverse work experience in human resources and banking. Melissa worked at Levy Restaurants as a Human Resources Director from 2018 to the present, where they also served as a Senior Human Resources Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Talbots as a Regional HR Manager and a Human Resource Business Partner. In these roles, they provided HR support, talent development, and served as a trusted advisor to the management team. Melissa also worked as an HR Specialist, providing counsel and advice on associate performance and compliance. Additionally, Melissa has experience in banking, having worked at Citizens Bank as a Human Resource Specialist and a Senior Teller.

Melissa Schmitt, SHRM-CP, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Capella University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Their field of study during their MBA program was Human Resources Management and Services. Prior to that, Melissa obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Johnson & Wales University from 2003 to 2008.
