Katherine Dreger Gavin

Katherine Dreger Gavin, M.Ed., is a dedicated educational professional currently serving as a TPED Board Member since January 2025 and as an Educational Diagnostician for Lewisville ISD since July 2020, where management of student caseloads and support for testing has been prominent. Katherine has extensive experience in special education, having worked as a resource math teacher, inclusion teacher, and special education case manager at Heritage Middle School from January 2019 to February 2025, where innovative resources were developed to assist educators. Additionally, Katherine operates Kt Photography as a sole proprietor, showcasing a keen eye for photography since middle school, while also contributing as a volunteer in various settings. Katherine holds multiple academic degrees, including a Master of Education in Special Education and a Master of Science in Child Life from Texas Woman's University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
