General Manager - Latin America & Caribbean at Lexar

Luis Valladares has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Luis currently serves as the Director of Channel Sales - LATAM & Caribbean at Lexar, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Kimball Electronic Laboratory, Inc. from July 2021 to April 2022.

From 2017 to 2020, Luis Valladares worked at Western Digital as the Senior Regional Sales Manager & Flash/SSD Regional Lead. Before that, they were with SanDisk for almost a decade, where they held the role of Senior Regional Sales Manager, North Region, Latin America. In this role, they were responsible for managing sales teams and distribution channels in Colombia, Venezuela, Central America, the Caribbean, and Miami-based Latin American regions. Luis played a key role in restructuring the Brazil FOB export business, leading to significant growth in the first few years.

Prior to their roles at Western Digital and SanDisk, Luis Valladares gained experience at Microsoft as a Partner Account Manager, managing distribution and direct OEM accounts, and at McAfee as a Territory Manager. Luis also worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Channel Account Manager and at Merisel as a Regional Sales Manager.

Luis Valladares began their career as the President and Owner of Premium Computer Sales and Consulting, a South Florida VAR specializing in SMB networks and accounting systems. Luis also served as the Services Director at Computerbanc.

Throughout their career, Luis Valladares has demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully managing teams and implementing marketing and incentive campaigns. Luis has a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas and driving growth in key accounts.

Luis Valladares holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University. Luis is also certified in Strategic Thinking, which was obtained from LinkedIn in July 2020.
