Ranjan Batra has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and research industry. Ranjan started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, focusing on pharmacology and neuropharmacology research. Ranjan then moved on to the University of Florida, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate and later as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Mayo Clinic. After that, they joined the University of California, San Diego as a Scientist. Ranjan also held roles at Verily Life Sciences and Locanabio, Inc., where they were a Senior Vice President and later served as a Vice President of Research and Development. Most recently, they joined Lexeo Therapeutics as the Vice President of Discovery, Research, and Translation.
Ranjan Batra completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from Delhi University in 2005. Ranjan pursued a Master's degree in Pharmacology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine from 2005 to 2007. Ranjan furthered their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human/Medical Genetics from the University of Florida between 2007 and 2013.
