Michael Bailey Smith

Michael Bailey Smith has a long and varied work history, beginning with their role as a Student Athlete at Eastern Michigan University in 1980. Michael Bailey then joined the US Army - 82nd Airborne Division in 1977, where they worked as a Paratrooper and specialized in MOS - 24M - Vulcan Weapon System / FAAR Radar Electronic Repairman. After leaving the Army, they returned to Eastern Michigan University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Aided Design. In 1985, they were a Player for the Dallas Cowboys before returning to Eastern Michigan University. In 1988, they began working as a QA Test Engineer for Xerox. In 1989, they joined NTS - National Technical Systems as a QA Test Engineer, where they worked for 11 years in various roles, including Project Leader and Business Development. In 2000, they joined OSRAM SYLVANIA as a Business Development Manager - LIGHTIFY North America. In 2016, they joined Leedarson Group as a Senior Director, IoT Business Development, where they also held the roles of Director, IoT Business Development and Senior Business Development Manager. In 2022, they began working as the Vice President of Global Sales for Lexi, a US-based IoT Platform. Throughout their career, Michael Bailey Smith has been involved in developing and executing sales strategies, building customer bases, exploring new channels, and creating marketing campaigns and collateral.

Michael Bailey Smith attended Eastern Michigan University from 1981 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Aided Design. Michael Bailey also attended Tehran American School in Tehran, Iran from 1974 to 1976.
