Julie A. Chapman

Julie A. Chapman currently serves as the VP & Head of Legal for North America at LexisNexis since June 2021, leading a team of 10 lawyers and reporting to the EVP, General Counsel (Global). In addition to this role, Julie has been with LexisNexis Canada Inc. as Head of Legal and Chief Privacy Officer since June 2010, overseeing legal matters and strategic initiatives. Julie holds positions on the Board of Directors for LexisNexis Canada and RELX subsidiaries in the United States, and has prior experience as Legal Counsel at Symcor and as an Associate Lawyer at Gardiner Roberts LLP. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, an Executive education in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School, a Certified In-House Counsel designation from the Rotman School of Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University.
