David O'Connor is currently the Head of Compliance, Europe, and Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM). Prior to this role, David served as a Financial Controller and Compliance Officer at Marathon Asset Management from 2020 to 2023 and as an Oversight/Risk Associate Director at Carne Group from 2014 to 2020. David's earlier experience includes working as a Manager at PwC from 2009 to 2014, where they focused on audit responsibilities for investment managers. David holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin, and is a Chartered Tax Adviser.
