POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Marketing team. This cross-functional role is essential for supporting project and process management within the department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multiple projects, developing project management processes and workflows, and acting as the primary "triage” or intake person on the team.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Project Manager of Marketing manages and optimizes cross-functional marketing projects and processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that all marketing initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively. Success in this role includes the timely completion of multiple projects, streamlined project management processes, and a cohesive team that is well-informed and equipped to meet the department’s needs.   

Tasks include: 

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Leading and managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with the Marketing Plan and department’s strategic goals.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and issues, providing timely feedback and effective solutions.
  • Serving as the “triage” or intake person on the Marketing team, assessing and prioritizing incoming projects and requests.
  • Designing, implementing, and optimizing project management processes and workflows within the Monday.com project management platform.
  • Establishing and enforcing project management best practices within the Marketing department.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between cross-functional areas, including Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Brand Marketing.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
  • Continuously evaluating and refining processes to adapt to changing needs and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Conducting regular project status meetings and providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Quickly identifying potential roadblocks and risks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a marketing department or agency.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Basecamp, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
