Elaine Balagia

Elaine Balagia serves as the Assistant General Counsel at Liberty Energy, overseeing litigation, compliance, and employment issues while managing a diverse litigation docket. In addition to this role, Elaine holds positions as Senior Counsel for Montgomery County WCID No. 205 and previously served as Director for Montgomery County MUD No. 152C. Prior experience includes Director of Compliance at Apache Corporation, where Elaine identified and mitigated operational risks, and various legal roles at McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore, L.L.P., including Associate Attorney. Elaine began a legal career as a Judicial Intern under Honorable Lee Yeakel and gained early experience as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas School of Law. Elaine obtained a JD from The University of Texas School of Law and a BA in English from The University of Texas at Austin.
