Cindy S. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Cindy started their career in 1990 as an Event Planner, Marketing & Sales Promotions at Frederick & Nelson. Cindy then worked at Safeco Insurance from 1992 to 2001, holding various positions including Commercial Lines Underwriter and Director of Business Process, Field Operations. At Safeco Insurance, they were responsible for strategic project management, organizational design, and implementation of business process improvement.

After Safeco Insurance, they joined Liberty Mutual Group - Agency Markets in 2008 as a Director of Underwriting Operations Management and Integration Leader. Cindy played a key role in strategic design and planning for sales and marketing organization.

In 2011, Cindy moved to Liberty Mutual Agency Corporation as a Director II, Product Management & Underwriting, overseeing new business development capabilities for Regional Companies Group Commercial Lines Product Management.

Cindy then joined Liberty Mutual Surety in 2012 as a Director of Program Services, leading a team of highly experienced project and program managers. Cindy'srole focused on process improvement, consulting, change management, and facilitation of strategic initiatives.

Most recently, Cindy has been working at Liberty Mutual Surety as the Director of Global Business Services since 2019. In this role, they lead a program team enabling strategic execution for the Global Surety Office of Operations worldwide. Cindy specializes in process design, program and project management, change management, and supports new country office start-ups and acquisitions/integrations.

Throughout their career, Cindy has demonstrated expertise in program management, strategic planning, process improvement, and leadership alignment. Cindy has a strong track record of driving growth and achieving milestones in complex global operational environments.

Cindy S. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in the School of Communications with a concentration in Advertising and a minor in Economics from the University of Washington between 1986 and 1990. Cindy then received a CPCU (Advanced Underwriting Accreditation) from the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter Society from 1994 to 1999. In 2011, they completed the CIOP program in Insurance Operations at the Chartered Insurance Operations Professional Institute. Cindy S. also attained an MCMC Certification (Master in Change Management & Coaching) from the same institute in 2017.
