Patrick Thielen

Patrick Thielen, CPCU, currently serves as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Cyber Insurance at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where responsibilities include leading the global cyber strategy to enhance risk management for brokers and buyers. Prior to this role, Patrick spent eight years at Chubb, first as Senior Vice President of Financial Lines, Cyber, overseeing product and underwriting for cyber insurance, and later as Vice President of Underwriting, where efforts focused on developing future capabilities and launching the Small Commercial Insurance division. Previously, Patrick held various leadership roles at Travelers from June 2003 to June 2015, including Second Vice President of Underwriting within the Global Technology division and Managing Director for the Central Region, where substantial growth was achieved in the technology and life sciences sectors. Patrick holds a Cyber COPE Insurance Certification from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
